Abstract: The increasing prevalence of cancer in some countries requires the development of a therapeutic program through the reduction of toxins formed as a result of the use of these medicines. So, the current experiment was designed to assess the use of a pure natural plant with an active ingredient, which is jojoba extract, and an auxiliary substance, which is vitamin E. Using cisplatin as 2ml/kg/single dose caused systemic toxicity, including weight loss and organ weight loss. The treatment with jojoba extract and vitamin E may be able to mitigate this negative effect, as demonstrated by studies. The antioxidant properties of both jojoba extract and Vitamin E are beneficial in reducing oxidative damage and improving the overall health status of rats, according to the findings. Combining the two compounds may be more effective in enhancing metabolic balance and boosting appetite, resulting in a more stable body weight during cisplatin exposure.
